What is books n boards
books n boards is a kids club. Run by kids. They come along to play boardgames together and create stories plus lots of other fantastical fun ideas they’ve incorporated into the afternoon over the months! They invite every friend they know, and their friends and their friends friends friends. They also want to live together because leaving each other after school days is the worst ever. They have designed quadruple bunk beds and are painting to raise money for rent but that’s another story for another decade. For the time being, let’s call Books n Boards a giant ‘everyone’s welcome’ play date. They like to make their own fun. They all join in with their fab ideas. (thank goodness for building regulations and Health and Safety legislation, so no we can’t invite a dragon nor a unicorn). All kids must have a grown up with them. Any unsupervised little peeps will be given a puppy and a strong coffee.

The kids – you’ll know them when you see them as they’re usually wearing ‘Tuck shop manager ‘ or ‘Head of Art and Design’ name badges
